March Twins

Quentin and Kingston (born 9 days apart) called each other last night and promised to wear their seersuckers.
Q&K with their bigs Annabelle and Taffe.

Soon enough, Katie and I are both really going to have our hands full once the little ones no longer just "sit"!

Rock On, Rocknoceros!

Free Rocknoceros concert on the Town Green? Yes, please! Christopher met us for the show as he had never heard our favorite Tot Rock band.
Despite the 6:30 show time, there were well over a hundred little ones running around on a Rockno-high.

An attempt at a family picture. Both boys happily enjoyed the show until Taffe told us it was time to go!

On another note, Kingston has officially found his thumb!

Beach Boys

It's officially summer! The boys and I headed to Grandma and Grandpa's beach house for a long weekend while Christopher was off at a tropical wedding. Taffe was VERY excited about going to the ocean. So excited he kept rubbing on his sunscreen and wore 2 swimsuits.
Day 1, Taffe was intimdated by the ocean. As said by Taffe, "Ocean is too loud. Ocean ROAR!"

Kingston enjoying his first trip to the beach. He loved the breeze and, let's be honest, this baby is happy pretty much everywhere!

Back at the beach house, Taffe loved his little pool and finding 100 uses for a plastic tub, including a drum as seen here.

Grandman and Kingston. Something about this picture, I think they look alike! I believe Kingston's bright blue eye color may be from Grandma.

A final treat for Taffe was the trampoline Grandpa put together for him. Taffe was psyched. Very eloquently said by Taffe, " I go jump, jump, jump!"

We are looking forward to the week long visit in July!

Being 2

At two, there can never be enough chocolate milk or bandaids (he has at least 4 on him for various "owies.")
"Wheels on the Bus" can never be sung too many times. It's always the song Kingston wants to hear according to Taffe. (I think Kingston prefers "Itsy Bitsy Spider" but I am often overruled!)

And the potty talk.... very exciting. I bought Taffe a potty since we talk about it all the time. He is definitely interested, but not quite ready. Taffe likes to sit on the potty and go, for about 3 seconds, and then he cleans it out. Good thing nothing is actually in there yet.

Awww, Buddy!

Maybe Kingston isn't quite ready for rides yet! Big brother Taffe sure does love Kingston's new rocking giraffe. Thanks King family!
This picture is from the day after Kingston's party... both daddy and Kingston are wiped out! 3 months is a lot of work.

Sip and See Kingston!

Kingston had his debutante party with the McGarrigal family up in Danbury, CT this weekend. A "small" family party which was not really small as there are a LOT of McGarrigals!
Taffe gearing up for the singing of "Congratulations" to Kingston.

Nana and Papa sure can throw a bash!

Aunt Pam and Uncle Paul drove down from NH just to meet our new lil guy!

With Aunt Cecelia. Note the outfit change... Kingston didn't want to be seen in the same outfit for too long at his own party.

One of the cutest moments of the night: Barry, who is the Fire Chief of Danbury read all the little boys in the fire truck jammies a fire truck book. Too cute!

It was a great day! Thank you Nana and Papa!

Berry Pickin'

Tis the season for berries! We headed way out into the country with Aunt Ceci and Charlie to pick our own strawberries.
We were all very excited to pick our own berries...

Yet, the boys kept picking unripe berries. Honestly, they lasted about 3 minutes before they gave up on the whole berry idea and went about picking up rocks.

Evidently there isn't a whole lot of shade on a strawberry field. Not so easy on my lil Irish guy. Kingston was much more pleased once he got to stretch out in the shade.

Turns out rocks and a bridge are all these boys need!

Charlie doing his "CHEESE!" face with his mama.

And just yesterday we picked raspberries off our own bushes. There are about 7 or 8 bushes that I cut back and attempted to put along the grates... and then I hoped for the best.

Delicious! I think we were all surprised by how sweet the raspberries are. Who knew these bushes could make such a sweet treat with so little care?
