Merry Christmas!

First Christmas for our little man... what fun to be with all of Taffe's cousins. Here is a random, out of order, sampling of the events.
Woah!
Christmas Eve at the King's house.
Christmas Day... 30 McGarrigals. Try to imagine.
With Uncle Tim.
Waiting for all the dads to say we can go out on Christmas morning.

My two men. Picture perfect!
Climbing on big cousin Dylan...

The boys must have been REALLY good!

Reading books on Christmas Eve Eve; note that Taffe is more interested in smiling at Dad.
Muscial talent is in the genes!

Snow!

Taffe's 1st REAL snow! He did come home from the hospital in some flakes, but nothing like this.
Little snow baby looked so cute out there, but he only lasted for a short bit.
So we went over to Cousin Charlie's house for some play time.
7PM and look how much snow! Well over a foot of fluffy, powdery snow!

A Christmas Party to Remember

A snapshot of all the kids at our Christmas party. Yes, it was that chaotic. No, the kids did not think a group shot was a good idea. Look closely at this picture. Every time I look at it I notice something new and it cracks me up. Good times little guys!

Walkin' Man

Taffe is becoming a walking man. He can walk when he pushes those walker type toys. He even pushed around his buddy Evan at playgroup.

A clip of TJ in action. If you watch to the end, you'll get a special wave from Taffe.

Guy's Guy

Just being a guy... playing some b-ball and wearing my flannel.
Wearing my tool belt. Hey, someone's gotta do some work around here!
Maybe I will get hang out with the "guys" at the "Man Gift Exchange" this weekend...

Santa's Little Helper

We're gearing up for the holidays and Taffe is quite the little helper.
Taffe taking off all of the bows from the packages....
And the bows finding their way onto the perfect little package.

Thankful Part 2

After a wonderful Thanksgiving here in VA, we headed up to the Great White North to see the McG clan. This visit was extra special since we hadn't seen globetrotter Tim in 7 months! We are so thankful he was home!

Thankful for Aunties and cousins Dylan and Gavin. (Uncle Kevin was around too!)
Thankful for babies. Taffe is saying "oooooh!" at cousin Miles' pictures.
Thankful for Nana and Papa... and my thumb which I seem to be finding a lot lately.
Thanks for the ride dad.
We are so thankful for all of our families!

Thankful Part 1

We are thankful for so many things, but especially our family. We started our Thanksgiving celebration with dinner here in VA. Cousin Charlie came over, and Taffe practiced sharring his toys.
Thankful for Grandma and Grandpa.
Thankful for Dad and my grown-up shirt.Thankful for our delcious meal made by all 3 of us women! Thanks D and mom for helping so much!
Thankful for siblings and cousins.

Slam Dunk...!

Taffe can make baskets at 10 months. He must have his father's athletic capabilities. Phew.

Sleepover!

Our good friends, the Ricciardiellos had a beer tasting party on Saturday. Rather than worry about a sitter and getting home by curfew, we had a sleepover. Taffe and Jack played during the pre-party set-up, and then were promptly put to bed.
The next morning Taffe, Maggie, and Jack had some good play time in their pjs. There is nothing cuter than 3 kids in their footed pajamas!
Baby Casey doesn't stand a chance with Taffe completely oblivious to him and Jack all over him. Soon enough Casey... you'll be bigger and faster!
They may be playing with the leftover Solo cups... I promise, no beer left in them!
Thanks for hosting a fun party and sleepover R family!

Fine Dining

Taffe wins. He refuses to be spoon-fed and only wants to feed himself... so that is what we'll do! Yesterday he enjoyed a lunch of salmon, avacado, and of course, bread. Doesn't that sound like a rather nice lunch? He obviously has a very refined palette. Bon appetit!

Little Explorer

Taffe is an outdoorsmen. He loves to explore using all 5 senses.

Yup, we eat leaves. They're probably organic, so it's ok, right?

Waiting for mom to be ready...

Using an "outdoor" voice.
Catching a ride in Long Branch Park.

A backpack built for me!

Happy Fall

Pretty happy baby. As long as he's not being strapped down in some way, he's all smiles. These pictures were snapped by my good friend Amy.... we love that she captured Taffe. His expressions and his personality totally come through the photo. Amy, I think you have a new career budding...
