15 months and Fabulous!

Taffe is 15 months, and growing just perfectly! Well, he's still a skinny-mini (still 5%), but we have some great news! Taffe is now in the 25% for height! Yay!!!! He is also in the 45% for head. Yes, some of that head circumfrence is because of his full head of hair.Taffe was full of energy at the doctor's office. He even zoom-zoomed his cars with Dr. Lee. And when he got his shots, there were screams, yet he paused his crying to wave bye-bye. Little man is growing up!

Little Fish

Christopher and Nana took Taffe to his very first swim class tonight. I was stuck in class being a scholar, while the little fish had all the fun.
For a guy who loves his bath, he was a little unsure of the pool.
He couldn't quite fathom, that yes, you can walk in water. Last year, we were immobile, so this is a new experience.
Not crying, but definitely not loving floating on his back.
16 of Taffe's new swim class friends! He is one little fish in the big sea!

All in a Day's Work

Christopher has been working a lot lately, so Taffe thought he'd lend a hand:

Little monkey

Taffe thinks he's hot stuff. He says "Hi!" to everyone at the grocery store. He has learned to say "Up! Up!" which he says constantly...he wants up in your arms, up on the chairs, up on his piano, up, up, up! And he gives kisses... to all his animals, and he also blow kisses too. :)
Here is a shot of Taffe chilling for a moment:

Oh yeah, today he also did his first somersault... by accident and then repeated it 4 times. At the end of each roll, he'd look at me, smile, and say "Uh-oh!" So when can I sign him up for tumbling?!

Easter Weekend

A trip to the zoo, great weather, an Easter egg hunt, and lunch with family = great fun for all.

Taffe deifnitely enjoyed the zoo. His favorite animal was a meerkat which Taffe eagerly watched and turned his head from side to side as it darted across the space. The other animals received "woof woofs."
Charlie came over for Easter lunch. There was a little rumble.
In which, Taffe stole Charlie's hat.
A hat Uncle Josh and Auntie D, and dad are proud to have him wear.

From our Mom's group egg hunt... I found one!
Found some more with a little help from a friend. Thanks Carter!

What a Wonderful Day!

I just had to do it. I had to be that mom who pulled their kid out of school (ok, music class) to go and enjoy the most beautiful day. A lot of other moms had the same idea that we did, as the Tidal Basin was packed!

Taffe found that his belly enjoyed the blossoms too.

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom right now... you gotta go see them!

We had so much fun with Katie and Annabelle. Taffe just loves watching his older and wiser friend. He thinks she is just too funny and she handles Taffe and his excitement just wonderfully!

After a picnic, we headed back to the Metro, when we were stopped because someone important was coming..

Yes, Mr. President!!! It was so cool to watch the motorcade buzz down Independence Ave.

And little man slept through it all!

Happy Spring!
