Easter

Does this say "Easter" or what?
The boys had a fun-filled morning. Taffe followed the trail the Easter Bunny left to find the baskets.

Then Grandma and Grandpa assisted Taffe in an egg hunt. Taffe was thrilled with opening each egg as soon as he found it.

Kingston offered moral support.

The boys even posed for a picture.

Happy Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt with Friends

This year's Easter egg hunt with our playgroup was way more exciting. Taffe totally got the "hunt" and was thrilled to find out there were treats inside.
Kingston hung out with his buddy Landon while looking dapper in his cardigan.

Nothing sweeter than a cleaned up toddler in grandpa sweater.Eating the treats! I love th eagerness on the kid's faces.

The "big kids" of our playgroup... they really are getting so big!

Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa came to visit and we did a lot: the Reston Zoo, gardening, egg dying, eating, playing... so much! Here are a few of my favorite shots:

Jump Around

Nothing like a little puddle jumping. Especially with a dash of mud. :)

Sippin' and Seein'

My dear friends Lauren and Michelle hosted a Sip and See for Kingston and I. There was a lot of cooing once the little man woke up.
Even the littlest ladies found Kingston cute and cuddly.
Thanks to all of my wonderful friends for visiting with us!

By the way...

Kingston Timothy hit the month mark! Being one month is a lot of work.
Back to sleep!

Cherry Blossoms

Instead of venturing downtown for our annual cherry blossom pictures, we headed over to Vienna's Meadowlark Gardens. Perfect as there were less crowds on this cool spring day.

The gardens are not to be missed! Kingston loved them so much, he slept the whole time. :)

Keeping Busy

Kingston celebrated 3 weeks today! We have had some very un-spring weather, but we are managing to keep busy as we adjust to our new little guy. Taffe fought me all winter on wearing hats, and now he's obsessed. At least it's chilly enough for him to wear them a few times! After seeing the "big boys" in the circle wear helmets and ride bikes, Taffe had to have a "black hat" so taht he could ride his tricycle outside. We found a Cars helmet, and life is pretty great!
The front flower bed keeps blooming and surprising us with new flowers and colors.
Some indoor play time resulted in Taffe wanting to give Kingston a "real kiss."
Perfection.
