Long Days

We had  some long days while Taffe was (and stll is)fighting off an infection in his lymphnodes.  It was as stressful and painful as you would think to see your little man hooked up to IVs and wires hanging around.  48 hours in the hospital was a lot for Taffe to handle.  My heart goes out to the families who send so many more days in that setting.

We are really appreciative of the care Taffe received and the support of our family & friends.  It was a team effort to keep us all going whilst taking care of Taffe.  Christopher moved in with Taffe, Grandma was on Kingston duty, and Mae Ruth and I moved back and forth between home and the hospital. Having everyone healthy and back at home is truly a blessing.

Celebrating Our Way

Instead of a date night or fancy dinner at home, we had a normal night of chaos for Valentine's Day and celebrated together as a family over the weekend.  We had our first diner outing as family of five, which we all enjoyed.  We got out of the house, but stayed in pajamas as "Jammy Days" are the best (and very typical) days around here!

Showing the Love

The boys love their little sister.  Kingston really likes to touch her, especially her hands and head which of course makes us a bit nervous.  He is like a bear cub patting her with his big  paws, and giving her air kisses!

Double Trouble

While I have been recovering, there has been lots of adventures with the boys and Christopher.  Note the new shirts and ensembles of the boys.
