Smiling Kingston

While Kingston has been smiling for a few weeks, just recently we can get him to smile on demand. Sweet smiles for everyone!

Especially for mommy though... we have a mama's boy on our hands, and I am not complaining!

Pool is Open!

GaGa Good Times

Taffe has always had a very special bond with his GaGa (a.k.a. Uncle Tim). Kingston Timothy is starting to have that special bond too. We had a blast with Tim this weekend.

Taffe even went down the BIG slide with his uncle.

Whether it was playtime, mealtime or bedtime, Taffe wanted Gaga by his side the whole weekend.

Secret Garden

At a recent family dinner with the R family, Maggie and the boys discovered "The Secret Garden."

Maybe it's not so secret, but it sure is gorgeous! Clematis and roses in full bloom and climbing on the trellis.

VFD

Glorious day... sun shining, not too hot, and Taffe got to "drive" fire engines. This seem to out-do the construction trucks by a long shot! It was a good thing Taffe remembered to wear his boots. Oh wait, that's the only footwear this kid likes!
He drove every truck multiple times and was in no rush to go home.

This antique fire truck is the one Santa drives around Vienna right around Christmas. Huge hit with the boys.

Another great outing involving transporation vehicles. :)

Day with Thomas

A life-size Thomas? Oh yes, we saw the "BIG Thomas!" as Taffe called him.
Thomas pulled the train for a little jaunt up in Baltimore. Both boys thought it was fantastic.

The B&O Railway Museum was pretty cool on its own. Huge steam engines which were interactive. It was train heaven.

A day of trains, and rides, and seeing best pal Colin.... too perfect for this 2 year old!

Little Men on BIG trucks

At Public Works Day the Town of Vienna opened up thier facility to the public. The boys were able to drive all the big trucks: street sweepers, diggers, bulldozers etc.
