Fruits of our Labor

Best crop of raspberries we have had yet!
Taffe has delivered berries to his favorite neighborhood girls, and everyone is suprised by how sweet they are!
Determining how big the sunflowers will get! A few more weeks, and they should be blooming!
The zinnias have already started blooming!  What an easy and vibrant flower to grow!  We are so excited to have so many flowers to share this summer.

Mall Rats

One of the boys favorite spots to hand on a hot day is the mall. This trip was especially exciting since we found of K could eat Auntie Ann's pretzels... major score!
Taffe was fascinated by the big boys dancing to some game on the Kinect.  He even tried to join in!

Happy Father's Day!

For our running daddy, a race right away, was the prefect start to his Father's Day!  Taffe was totally into cheering, and while it wasn't loud, he was very clear, "Go, Daddy! Go, go, go!" He proceeded to find the perfect cheering spot way up in the bleachers.

Kingston was just as thrilled with the bleachers as Taffe.  Who doesn't love climb up several flights of stairs?
Yay, Daddy!  Christopher had a super fast time, one of his fastest recently. We loved watching him run, but most of all, we love that we have the best daddy!

Fifteen and Fabulous!

Our baby boy is growing up!  He has learned to cruise around the furniture and climb stairs.  And while he still loves to scoot, he is so fast!  He is just thrilled that he can cruise around and access so many thins, and while Taffe generally loves playing with him, Kingston's new reach will take some getting used to!
I love how blonde his hair is!  Never having been blonde, I can't get enough of my blondie baby, especially with his little curls!

Day with Daddy

The big boys had a special day together!  Chris and Taffe took a metro ride to Capitol to check out the newest Playseum.  They spent the whole day out, and had a blast!

Making Tracks

Make tracks with trucks and trains using paint? Of course!
Super fun activity found via Pinterest fromPlay Create Explore.

Kingston was fascinated with texture of paint.  He liked squishing it in his finsgers and smearing it all over the floor.

Taffe went full steam ahead and decided to walk on the tracks as it was the only way to really make sets of tracks across the paper. In the end, Kingston sat right on the middle of the paper, and Taffe drove around him.
 Finished product!
If I were to do this again... BIGGER paper, and probably not on my porch.  It just so happens the porch will be power washed this week, so I wasn't too stressed about the footprints and tracks all over!

..how you know when your three year old is finally worn out!
