Jammin' Out

Hands down, the coolest place for tots in Vienna: Jammin' Java. Live music daily, with kids rockin' out. We hit this place up almost weekly, since it seems to be the only way I see live music these days! :) And come on, who doesn't love to see their kid learning how to groove?!

Beach Babies

We brought 2 cuties down with us to the beach. Taffe was in heaven with 2 playmates around to play with 24-7!
Nothing better than a shower to cool you off on a hot day at the beach!

The ocean was still like a magnet for Taffe, pulling him to run as fast as he could run to the crashing waves.

We had evening such a nice time with evening strolls on the sand, and dinner out, followed by girl chat once the kids went to bed!

And who knew my little guy was such a window shopper? He LOVED peering into the windows and oggling the "stuff." This might be the last summer before he begs me to buy him all the precious items!

Learning as We Go!

We are so lucky to have so many wonderful family members who are so willing to help us settle into our new home. From my parents who helped unpack and watch Taffe, to Tim who was the muscles of our move, and the our latest helpers Nana and Papa who helped fine-tune the house. We are so grateful for all the help as we learn how to take care of our new home!
We are learning about Taffe too... like how a lollipop cures the tears from a haircut.

And a torrential downpour with thunder doesn't frighten TJ one bit.

Fingerpainting feels kind of sticky.

And best of all, Taffe learned that he wants to use tools, just like his Papa.

Beachin' It

Oh the life of Taffe... the beach and ice cream, who could ask for more?
Once Grandpa learned Taffe loved ice cream, he was sure to have it on hand.

We visited the beach...

and Uncle Jack and Auntie Betsy were visiting from Wisconsin. Taffe loved playing with his WI relatives.

Our Secret Garden

Hello out there! It's been busy unpacking and we were away in Kingston, but we love being home. Taffe now has a driveway where he can ride on his toys. Lucky little guy!
One of the features that attracted us to our new house was the immaculate gardens. Every neighbor, and even the UPS delivery man have told me, "She (previous owner) was out there, all the time!" Yikes... a bit of a daunting task, but we adore out secret garden.

And Taffe loves smelling the flowers.

Jolly Cow

Ahhhh, summer. For all McGarrigals summer is synonymous with The Jolly Cow.
I think he likes it.
