You only turn 1 once!

So happy, happy birthday to Taffe! We started off the day with the surprise of Uncle Tim being here.
The party was packed. Seriously...Taffe knows a lot of people! Taffe took it all in quite well. He was trying to figure out why everyone was singing, and just what was that big cake?

No face dive in the cake, just holding onto it to make sure it wasn't going anywhere.

Taffe with a few of his girlfriends from Mom's group: McKenna and Tracy, Cardin and Emily.

The Winter Wonderland left Taffe pointing and saying "oooh!" every few minutes. He loved all the snowflakes.

Thanks to Uncle Tim for being head decorator and helping the vision come to life!

And you can't celebrate just once... a family trip to Silver Diner for one more cupcake.

One of the few things...

Taffe shows no fear of most things. No fear of heights, falling, crowds, strangers... the list continues. But a small fear of amusement rides may exist for the time being:

Aw, sorry buddy! Thought you'd like zooming around for 5 minutes, suspended in air. And soon you'll be 9 begging to go on roller coasters...

Being the Little Guy

Hiding out in Caroline's princess tent... she was all about sharing until I started yelling and jumping on her. It's tough to be the little guy! She even hid her nativity set in the trash so that I wouldn't touch it. :)
I learned all my big boy behavior from Finley. Yelling is even more fun when you are in a pink box.
